He is a tenured professor at Australia's esteemed Deakin University and serves as the deputy director of the Australian Future Fibre and Innovation Research Center. Professor Tong is a lifelong academician of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a recipient of the Australian Future Academician Winner Fund. His impressive contributions to Advanced Materials and Advanced Functional Materials include over 200 academic papers published in renowned journals such as Nature, along with 14 academic monographs, 15 book chapters, and 15 authorized patents. With an ISI database paper citation count surpassing 4100 and an H-index of 71, Professor Tong's expertise sets the foundation for our research endeavors.
